Angela obtained her BDS from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 1998 and then worked in general dental practice in London. She joined the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Ipswich Hospital and later worked as a staff-grade oral surgeon at Guy’s Hospital in London, where she taught undergraduate dental students. At this point, she achieved her MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
She then embarked on a four-year specialist training programme in periodontology at Guy’s Hospital. This included all aspects of surgical and non-surgical treatment for gum disease, as well as implantology and scientific research. She completed the course with an MSc (Distinction) in Clinical Dentistry from the University of London and a Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is also on the specialist register for periodontology with the General Dental Council.
At Colchester Dental Specialist Centre, Angela accepts referrals from general dental practices for all aspects of periodontology. She provides both surgical and non-surgical treatment for gum disease, including regeneration, mucogingival soft tissue management, implants and crown lengthening. In addition to her work here, she continues to teach undergraduate students in the Department of Periodontology at Guy’s Hospital.
