Luiza enjoys empowering her patients to understand their general oral and periodontal (gum) health, advising them in a gentle manner. She commented, 'I find it very rewarding to see patients who have improved gum and teeth health.'

After qualifying in Brazil in 2014, Luiza undertook a two-year postgraduate course, allowing her to refine her skills in restorative dentistry. In Brazil, Luiza gained experience practising various areas of dentistry and discovered one of her passions, gum disease prevention and management. Luiza then relocated to England to continue her career and registered as a dental hygienist/therapist in 2019.

Luiza’s background has given her a breadth of knowledge and a great platform to provide quality, patient-centred care. She’s dedicated to her profession and continued learning, and she has an increasing interest in preventative dentistry.
