Duncan qualified as a dental surgeon from the Royal Dental Hospital of London in 1981. In 1993 he was accepted at the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guys and St Thomas’s Hospitals to follow a taught master’s course in endodontics, the teaching of which was shared between Guy’s Hospital and the Eastman Dental Institute.
Duncan went on to gain a master’s in restorative dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was accepted onto the endodontics specialist list of the General Dental Council. He subsequently taught endodontics at postgraduate level at Guy’s Hospital, King’s College London, the Eastman Dental Institute and the University Hospital of Wales. He was awarded the honorary title of senior tutor at Cardiff University in 2013 and he continues to teach endodontic courses.
Duncan has owned two endodontic practices in the past, but now solely works at The Parade Dental Specialist Centre where his practice continues to be exclusively endodontics on a referral basis.
He is pleased to work with referring practitioners to seek the highest quality treatment for patients.
