Here at Bupa Dental Care Sale Moor, Greater Manchester our skilled and dedicated team of clinicians offer a range of private services. We also offer same day emergency appointments if you need to be seen unexpectedly and NHS care.

Our team has a wealth of experience, with some members having been a part of our practice for more than 20 years. We’ve built up trusted relationships with many local residents and their families. Our approach is professional and personal, and we’re dedicated to caring for your oral health.

Dental treatments and services

Whether you’re looking for a check-up or hygiene appointment, or something a little more complex, we’ll be more than happy to help.

As well as the usual general dental services, our dentists are also experienced in minor oral surgery, root canal, periodontal (gum) treatments and orthodontics. If you’re looking to add a sparkle to your smile, we provide in-house and at-home teeth whitening treatments.

One of our most popular services is implant treatment. We’ve been placing dental implants for over 15 years. If you’re looking to restore your smile with implants, learn more about our implant offering.

If you’re nervous about visiting us, we can offer dental sedation to put you at ease. For more information on any of the services we provide, please contact our friendly reception team who will be more than happy to help.

Our dentist referral services

We accept referrals for implants, endodontic and periodontic treatment. Ask us about our referral services or refer your patient.

About our practice

We are a wheelchair-friendly practice. Our ramp is at the rear entrance of the practice and we have downstairs surgeries available. Please let us know if you have any specific accessibility needs before your appointment.

Our practice is open until 7pm on Monday and Thursday two nights per week. If you’d like to book an appointment, please get in touch and we’ll try our best to find a time to suit you.

Visiting our practice

Our practice is within easy reach of the M60, using junction 6. There’s free parking available at the practice.

Sale Tram Station is approximately 10 minutes’ walk away and bikes can be stored behind the practice.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.

We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.

Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.

Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.

COVID-19 safety tariff (per private appointment)

The health, wellbeing and safety of our patients, their families and our people is our priority and always will be.

That’s why, following the COVID-19 outbreak, we’ve taken the essential decision to put extra safety measures in place right across our practice, so you can continue to visit our dentists with the reassurance that you are secure and protected.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has always been worn by our clinical teams in the practice, but the new safety measures mean that our clinicians will now be wearing enhanced PPE to minimise the risk of cross contamination during treatment.

To ensure that each patient has the protection they need we have to apply a separate tariff for the enhanced PPE that is required for each dental treatment. The tariff will vary by treatment type – please contact your local practice for more information.

This is a temporary measure - we are committed to keeping costs to a minimum and hope to reduce this further as the cost for PPE reduces, or the need for enhanced safety measures decreases or are no longer needed.
