Over the last 15 years, Pedro’s private work has mainly been related to the confection of crowns, oral surgery (biopsies and removal of wisdom teeth (while in Portugal)) and surgical extractions (while in the UK), fitting chrome-cobalt dentures and composites. He has also treated patients with occlusion and TMJ concerns, but his experience in this field is more limited.
Pedro’s work in the UK has given him the opportunity to treat emergency, private and NHS patients, as both a lead dentist and associate. He has enjoyed working in different areas of the UK (Corby, London, Ryde, Portsmouth and Carterton) where he has been a mentor for various colleagues.
Pedro is excellent at communicating with and supporting his patients, which allows him to gain a great understanding of their needs.
