There’s plenty of information out there about how to get started when it comes to exercise and fitness.

But if you regularly exercise and are now looking for your next challenge, why not try stepping it up a notch with some high intensity interval training?

Perhaps you saw my recent blog introducing high intensity interval training (HIIT)? Maybe you even gave the beginner’s  HIIT workout a try? But if you’re already active and have a good level of fitness, you may be looking for that next step.

The great thing about HIIT is that it can be tailored to suit all fitness levels. By tweaking each individual exercise, extending time intervals, or increasing weight and resistance, any HIIT workout can be adapted to suit you.

Here, we give you an intermediate HIIT workout to try. This builds on the beginner’s workout and challenges you that bit more. Give it a go!

Even healthy people become unwell sometimes. Health insurance can help you get prompt access to the treatment and support you need to help you get back on the road to recovery. Learn more with our useful guide to understanding health insurance.
