Stress Awareness Month 2022 – Business toolkit

25 March 2022

Stress Awareness Month is held every April. Here’s why raising awareness of stress and mental health should be a priority for your business.

Stress can impact us all. It’s our body’s natural response to dealing with pressure. But too much stress over a long period of time can have a significant impact on our overall health and wellbeing. So, it’s important we find ways to manage our own stress and look out for the signs that those around us may be struggling.

How does this affect your business?

Stress and ill mental health are two of the most common causes of long-term absence in the UK.* The rising cost of living, COVID-19 alongside family and work issues may result in increased stress and anxiety amongst staff. With our support, you can help employees in your workplace better manage their stress and their mental wellbeing – so they can continue to be the best version of themselves.

We’ve put together some expert-approved tools and resources for you to share that help bring awareness to the importance of stress management. Our manager’s guides will equip your team leaders with practical advice on how to support employees with stress and anxiety, as well as how kind leadership can lower stress levels amongst employees. We have also gathered resource to help manage stress for employees who feel the pressure and demands of work have become too much.
