Mothering Sunday: Local care home brings residents and their children together for photoshoot

Grandmothers and mothers at The Lindsay Bupa Care Home have been brought together for a special photoshoot to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Home Manager Lauren Steele organised the event to create a memorable experience for residents and their families. The photoshoot was made complete with a beautiful backdrop and bunches of flowers to bring the images to life. The afternoon was enjoyed by everyone in attendance with smiles and laughter throughout.

One resident, Kath, aged 86, commented: “I had a wonderful time with my daughter. We really enjoyed having our photographs taken. I will definitely be having one hung on my wall.”

Lauren Steele, Home Manager, commented: “We had a wonderful afternoon at the photoshoot, it was lovely to create such a special afternoon with our residents and their families. The shoot helped to capture special memories. I am very proud of my team at The Lindsay for their efforts and continued commitment to creating special moments for our residents.”

The Lindsay is looking forward to recreating the photoshoot for their male residents on Father’s Day in June.
