Our in-house activity co-ordinator does their best to plan something fun and interesting every day so that our residents, regardless of their ability, always have something entertaining to do.
Our range of activities is enjoyed and well-supported by our residents. Examples of the sorts of things they can do include musical entertainment, quizzes, special in-house events and day trips outside the home.
We want to make sure that every resident has the food that they'll enjoy, every day of the week. To make sure that happens, our chef consults with all residents to find out their likes, dislikes and any dietary requirements they may have.
We have an open door policy, so you are welcome to pop in to the home at any time. However, we recommend you avoid visiting at main meal times as these can be very busy. If you would like to speak to the home manager when you visit, you can make an appointment by calling us first.
Depending on its size, new residents are welcome to bring furniture to their new room. Many of our residents bring a favourite armchair or pictures and other small belongings to personalise their room.

There are 56 bedrooms at Elm Grove and they are all decorated to high standard in schemes chosen by our interior designer. Every room comes with a remote-controlled TV, telephone point, thermostatic radiators and 24-hour call system, most rooms also have an en-suite bathroom.
We also encourage our residents to bring with them any personal items or small pieces of furniture to decorate their rooms and make them feel more homely.
