Why choose us?
Physiotherapy gym
Our on-site therapy team offer slow-stream rehabilitation. This is ideal for preventing secondary injuries and maintaining mobility.
Encouraging mobility and independence
Each area of our home is designed to encourage mobility and independence. Our wider corridors make it easier for wheelchairs.
Personalised bedrooms
Residents can personalise their rooms with posters, consoles and small pieces of furniture.
Fresh, healthy food
Residents can enjoy a variety of healthy meals in the comfort of their own room or in one of the three dining areas.
Beautiful local area
Our grounds are sheltered by mature trees from neighbouring Bedford's Park. The garden paths are all wheelchair friendly, and raised beds help us get closer to the flowers. There are places to sit and simply enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, too.
Accessible care home
We’re five miles from the junction off the M25 and A12, with plenty on-site parking. With bus stops outside our home, there's also the train station at Romford which has connections to Southend, Colchester and London Liverpool Street..
Activities at Havering Court
There’s no typical day at Havering Court, we arrange plenty to do, both at the home and out and about.
We provide a variety of enjoyable activities for all residents, including those with limited mobility. These include:
- Quizzes, puzzles and games
- Arts and crafts
- Coffee mornings
- Live performances from comedians, musicians and visiting singers
- Trips out to local places of interest, decided by residents
- Movie nights or getting together to watch a football or rugby match
- Baking and cooking
Our staff also actively encourage residents to maintain and start new hobbies
