Setareh is a dentist with a particular focus on simple orthodontics for restorative dentistry and oral surgery for broken teeth.

Training and qualifications

Setareh Basirat qualified as a dentist from the University of Sheffield in 2016. She went on to work at practices in Doncaster and Bolsover, before bringing her skills and experience to Bupa Dental Care Eckington.

Setareh has undertaken various courses, furthering her knowledge and enabling her to bring a range of dental services to her patients. She is currently studying for a diploma in orthodontics, which will be completed in January 2024. Setareh has also completed a 20-hour occlusion course in restorative dentistry.

Treatments offered

Alongside general dentistry, Setareh offers oral surgery for broken teeth and cosmetic orthodontic procedures including clear aligners like Invisalign Go aligners. She also provides composite bonding, teeth whitening and routine endodontics.

Recently Setareh has trained in how to fit Somnodent devices to help with snoring and sleep apnoea.
