Training and experience

Working as a general Dentist in a young offender’s institute, Vasileios carried out several projects with inmates, providing care in often challenging environments. He moved to the UK in 2017 where he started working in a mixed NHS / private practice in Somerset. Since then, he has regularly attended courses in the UK and overseas to widen his portfolio.

In the last 12 years Vasileios gained knowledge and training in implant dentistry, as well as a deeper knowledge of single and multiple teeth replacement and denture stabilisation. He is a skilled and experienced practitioner who has expertise in surgical treatments such as sinus lift and bone augmentation, and is currently on the way to acquire in the field of full arch rehabilitation.

Being a member of the International Team of Implantology (ITI), Vasileios regularly attends events and seminars to broaden his knowledge and gain experience.

Treatments offered

Vasileios accepts referrals from other dental practitioners to carry out implant rehabilitation with or without the restorative part. He is a provider for Bupa Dental Care, and Vasileios offers other non-surgical treatment such as short-term orthodontic treatment, composite bonding and whitening.

Vasileios is particularly keen on improving the dental experience and can work with patients who suffer from dental anxiety. He believes that a good patient relationship can lead to a more relaxing, comfortable atmosphere making dental treatment as pleasant an experience as possible.

When not being a dentist, he endeavours to tick places off his bucket list by travelling around the world, embracing the history and culture along the way. He also relishes going to the theatre and especially the opera.
