Adam qualified as a specialist orthodontist from the Leeds Dental Institute in 2019. He was educated in West Yorkshire and graduated in dentistry from the University of Manchester in 2012.

Since then, he has spent time in general dental practice in an oral and maxillofacial surgery in London, and as a specialty dentist at a hospital in Leeds.

Adam recently presented his work on Invisalign aligners at the British Orthodontic Conference. He regularly lectures for Invisalign and is a member of the Invisalign Advisory Board. Adam has several publications in both dental and orthodontic journals, including a recent academic research project on orthodontic retainers in the highly regarded Journal of Orthodontics.
