Training and qualifications

Greg qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School, London in 1993, where he held the position of student president. After qualifying, Greg accepted a position to work at Guy's Hospital as a house surgeon in the restorative and sedation departments, treating nervous patients. He later moved on to a second rotation in the oral surgery and emergency primary dental care (Dental A&E) unit at Guy’s Hospital. This involved routine removal of both adult and children's teeth under local anaesthesia, sedation and general anaesthesia, as well as more complex surgical wisdom teeth removal under day case general anaesthesia. Greg formed part of the team at Guy’s Hospital’s Royal Navy Dreadnought Service, treating submariners who were suffering from dentofacial pain whilst docked at Portsmouth before heading back to sea.

After leaving Guy’s Hospital, Greg entered corporate dentistry serving clients such as JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Swiss Bank and Chase Manhattan banks. It was whilst working here as a dentist that he furthered his knowledge in facial aesthetics, gaining qualifications in teeth whitening under Linda Greenwood in 2004 as well as qualifications in facial aesthetics between 2002 and 2016.

Greg completed courses in Functional Occlusion under John Kois in 2008 and Occlusal Splints (Michigan Splints for the treatment of Bruxism and TMJ dysfunction) at The Royal London Hospital in 2014. Greg has been restoring Nobel Biocare dental implants since 2003 and attended workshops and courses at Dawood & Taner Academy for restoring implants in 2016 and has held membership with the BDA, ITI (International Team of Implantology) and the King’s College Alumni Committee at Guy’s Hospital. Greg is currently the radiation protection supervisor for Bupa Dental Care Marylebone.
