Laura Butler

Laura Butler is a dentist who graduated (with merit) from Leeds University before studying further with the Royal College of Surgeons and the International Institute of Facial Aesthetics.

Training and qualifications

Following five years studying at Leeds University, Laura graduated in 2011 with merit in Dentistry, and was awarded the prize for excellence in prosthetics.

She obtained her MJDF diploma, awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons in recognition of a further period of study and examination in the Yorkshire NHS Longitudinal Dental Foundation Scheme. Laura was one of only 12 dentists in the country to be chosen for this two-year programme.

Throughout this time, Laura worked in both general practice and for Leeds Community Dental Service in several settings. Her involvement included providing general anaesthesia in hospital, dealing with patients with physical and intellectual impairments, and adults and children with dental phobia. Laura also worked in a specialist orthodontic practice supporting the orthodontist.

    Treatment offered

    Laura has worked with Bupa Dental Care as an associate dental surgeon for over 11 years, predominantly providing private dentistry solutions for an array of patients in need of treatment. She has also completed advanced botulinum toxin training with the International Institute of Facial Aesthetics and is a fully qualified and insured facial aesthetics practitioner.

    Laura enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with patient care being at the heart of every clinical decision.
