Pentangle Dental Transformations (part of Bupa)

Rob Oretti

GDC - 63034 BDS, MGDS, MFDS Clinical Co-Director

Rob qualified in dentistry from King’s College, London in 1987. He is currently the president of the BAAD (British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry) and has gained years of experience in performing complex implant, orthodontic and cosmetic treatments.

After working in an orthodontic practice in Colchester for four years, he moved to Newbury in Berkshire. He then spent the next 14 years in a busy private practice, which he built a reputation for treating complex cases involving cosmetic, implant and orthodontic treatments. At this time, Rob also became involved in teaching and mentoring, and has taught many dentists on all aspects of cosmetic and dental implant therapies.

In 2006, Rob joined Pentangle Dental Transformations, our purpose-built centre for dentists to send their patients for implants and complex treatments. He now shares his time between treating these referred patients, and teaching.

Rob currently is a postgraduate tutor for the Thames Valley deanery and a mentor and faculty educator for the ADI (Association of Dental Implantology). He is a mentor and international speaker for the ITI (International team of Implantologists), and a RCS Edin (Royal College of Surgeons) examiner for the diploma in Implant Dentistry as well as the (MAGDS RCS Edin) Membership in Advanced General Dental Surgery.

He has published several articles on implant therapy, and presents regularly at scientific meetings.
