Welcome to Total Dental Care Peterborough
Located on Cathedral Square in the heart of Peterborough, we have provided high quality private dental care to the local community for many years. Our recently renovated practice provides exceptional comfort and a warm welcome, and our experienced team is here for a wide range of dental care treatments in Peterborough.
Meet our new dentist, Andrew McCarthy. Andrew holds platinum elite status for providing Invisalign aligners, a discreet teeth straightening solution for a more confident smile. Andrew also offers an array of dental treatments and has a special interest in sleep apnoea.
We are delighted to share that we can now offer Bupa Smile Plan, a pay-monthly subscription option, to patients treated by 3 of our clinicians. Contact us to find out more.

Finding Total Dental Care Peterborough
Our practice is located on the third floor of the Market Chambers building on Cathedral Square. You will find the entrance between Franco Manca pizza restaurant and the Bean Around coffee shop, close to the Westgate and Queensgate shopping centres.
Local parking is available in the nearby Queensgate Shopping Centre. If you’re using a sat nav for directions, enter the postcode PE1 1NT. If you’re travelling by public transport, there are plenty of buses that run through the town centre and we’re less than a 10-minute walk from Peterborough Train Station.

Specialist equipment and services
Newly refurbished in 2021, our practice features an array of modern essentials both in dentistry and patient care. We have five surgeries and have invested in specialist equipment to support precision diagnostics, planning and treatment. This includes a CBCT scanner for 3D imaging and an intra-oral camera and scanner to aid diagnosis and patient education, reducing the need for traditional impressions.
A warm welcome for every patient
Our treatments are delivered with high-quality care in a friendly and comfortable environment, including free Wi-Fi and refreshments while you wait. As well as caring for our patients, we also welcome referrals from other dentists including providing imaging-only services to dentists in general practice.

Patient feedback
Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. We always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. Your dentist can explain and suggest any options open to you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
11. Offer available at select Bupa Dental Care practices only to patients aged 18 years or over. 2. The offer is valid to new private patients who book a new private patient check-up between 15.04.2024 and 07.06.2024 and attend the check-up by 30.06.2024 (inclusive). 3. Finance applicant must be aged 18 or over, a UK resident, have a UK bank account and be in permanent employment.
The minimum spend for finance is £500 and the maximum is £50,000. 0% APR representative is available on repayment terms of up to 40 months. Finance taken at repayment terms of 48 or 60 months is subject to 7.9% APR representative.
All finance is subject to eligibility, status, affordability and a credit check T&Cs apply.
