Jo qualified in 2003 from the University of Sheffield. Prior to working at Bupa, she worked as an NHS GP, a GP trainer and Program Director for GP Training in the Oxford Deanery.
Jo joined Bupa in 2015 and alongside her clinical work as a GP, has worked in centre and regional clinical lead roles and now works in the risk and compliance team. Jo continues to deliver training to NHS trusts and GMC appraisals. Jo is passionate about proactive healthcare, shared decision making, supporting people to make the best health choices for their individual circumstances and maintaining patient safety.
Jo loves walking, swimming and the outdoors, enjoying all the pleasures that the changing seasons bring and the relaxation that is to be found in nature.
