Rishi qualified as a doctor in 2012 and has experience working in hospital and community settings, both in the UK and Australia. He also has an academic background having worked in international clinical trials and holds a MSc in Global Health and Epidemiology from Oxford University. Rishi was working as a public health doctor in the NHS prior to joining Bupa in September 2021, initially as an NHS National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow and currently is the Clinical Innovation Lead for Bupa Health Clinics.
Rishi has a strong interest in primary and preventative healthcare. He is interested in the use of digital technology in improving access to healthcare, helping individuals to stay healthy and preventing disease. He believes that individuals should be empowered to monitor and improve their health and wellbeing. That includes healthcare professionals using a personalised approach to support them.
