World Menopause Day 2023 – employee support guide

22 September 2023

Helping employees navigate their menopause journey

Menopause affects everyone, from those managing the symptoms to family, friends and colleagues. But for many people, they experience difficult symptoms in silence and don’t know where to turn for help. In fact, six in 10 women feel their symptoms have had a negative impact on their work.1

By encouraging open conversations, organisations can foster a more inclusive and supportive work environment. Supporting employees through this transition is not only a compassionate business choice but a strategic step to support long-term success.

It could also help your clients improve engagement, loyalty and prevent people from leaving work early on in their career.

Everyone’s journey through the menopause is unique to them. We’ve created this guide (PDF, 0.1MB) to help employees find their normal, whatever that may be. It contains a wealth of information, guidance and signposting to support them through the menopause and can also be used as a tool to support someone they know.
