Bupa partner with Pinewoods Clinic to open new Liverpool Health Centre

Bupa and Pinewoods Clinic has partnered to open a new health centre in Liverpool, providing health assessments, private GP appointments, menopause support and ear wax removal to the local area.

The new clinic, located at One Rose Lane, has state of the art facilities including Wattbikes, which test cardiorespiratory fitness through Bupa health assessments, and 4 consulting rooms.

Pinewoods Clinic is a specialist clinic in Liverpool, housing consultants with expertise in dermatology, women’s health, facial treatments including cosmetic procedures such as filler, and dentistry.

The Bupa Wellbeing Index, a landmark survey that uncovers the state of the nation’s health, found that one in five people currently view their physical and mental health as ‘poor’, showing a need for fast access to services and solutions to help prevent longer term issues from arising.

Through the clinic, customers will be able to book in for a range of health assessments to get an overall picture of their current health and wellbeing, up to an hour appointment with a GP, access to Bupa’s Menopause Plan and ear wax removal service, to help support a range of health concerns.

The centre will have their own entrances and Bupa branding, though will be run in partnership with Pinewoods Clinic, whose expert team will provide staffing and management. Marketing and patient engagement will be driven by Bupa and the management of the clinics will be supported by Bupa infrastructure including operations, IT support, clinical governance etc.
