With our brand-new Medication Check, it’s possible. Usually worth £195, it’s completely free for your clients when they get a quote and start their Bupa By You policy between 10 November and 19 December 2025.
What is the Medication Check?
Our DNA holds the secrets to how our bodies process certain medicine.
In fact, almost 99% of us have at least one genetic variation that impacts our response to certain medicines*. That could make them work less well, or increase our risk of side effects.
So our new Medication Check is an at-home DNA test that could help your clients understand which medicines are the safest and most effective for them.

How does it work?
Your clients will receive an email with a link to redeem their free Medication Check within one week of their policy start date.
Once they’ve got it, the process is simple.
1. Provide a saliva sample. We’ll send a DNA test kit in the post with instructions. They can send it back using our free returns label.
2. Get their results. We’ll email a report, which will include a summary of what we found and next steps. This could take up to four weeks.
3. Talk to a GP. If your client would like more guidance, they can book a digital appointment with one of our GPs to talk through their results.
