Chris Carroll
CEO, Bupa Global, India & UK
Chris became CEO of Bupa Global, India & UK on 1 January 2026. In this role, he is accountable for Bupa UK's portfolio of businesses, Bupa Global, which provides international private medical insurance to customers around the world, and Niva Bupa in India.
Chris joined Bupa in November 2020. He became Managing Director of Bupa Health Insurance Australia in March 2022, and in January 2025 he moved to the UK to become CEO of Bupa Insurance UK.
Before joining Bupa in 2020, Chris was CEO of WS Audiology - Asia Pacific and prior to that held executive positions at Medibank. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Richard Washington
CEO, Bupa Insurance LTD
Richard is the CEO of Bupa UK Insurance and is an experienced leader in financial services: he joined Bupa in 2018 as Product and Proposition Director for Bupa UK Insurance, becoming General Manager for Bupa UK Insurance’s Consumer division from 2021 to 2024 and more recently, Medical and Healthcare Director. Previous to Bupa, he held senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group and NatWest.
Anthony Cabrelli
Managing Director, Bupa Global
Anthony re-joined Bupa Global in October 2021, having previously been with Bupa for over 20 years in a number of roles, including as Managing Director of our business in Latin America. He has broad experience of medical insurance businesses across a range of international markets, and formerly held the role of CEO - Global Solutions at United Healthcare Global, part of United Health Group.
Sarah Melia
General Manager, Bupa Health Services
Sarah was appointed General Manager of Bupa Health Services in 2021, overseeing the provision services across primary and secondary care. She previously held the role of Managing Director of Bupa Health Clinics since 2018.
Sarah commenced working at Bupa in 2011 starting out as a Regional Director in the Care Homes business before becoming Regional Managing Director, a position that she held for three years.
Before working at Bupa, Sarah held several senior commercial and operational roles within the retail travel industry, including Operations Director for a national travel business responsible for leading over 500 high street travel agents and supporting services across the UK.
Mark Allan
General Manager, Bupa Dental Care
Mark Allan is the General Manager, for Bupa Dental Care.
He was previously General Manager for Business & Specialist Products in Bupa’s UK Insurance business with responsibility for the commercial leadership of the Business & Specialist Products, SME and Corporate channels for Private Medical and Dental Insurance.
Mark joined Bupa in late 2017 having previously been Managing Director for RSA Insurance’s Personal Insurance business as part of a 23-year career there performing a range of roles including Graduate trainee, Regional Director in their Estate Agency chain and Claims Operations Director.
Tom Hoosen-Webber
General Manager, Bupa UK Care Services
Tom is the General Manager of Bupa UK Care Services. Prior to this, he was the Chief Sustainability & People Officer for Bupa Global, India & UK having joined Bupa in 2018. Prior to joining Bupa he has held a number of senior Transformation and Human Resources roles in multiple sectors including supply chain, manufacturing and telecommunications.
Siobhan Moynihan
Chief Financial Officer, Bupa Global, India & UK
Siobhan re-joined Bupa in 2022 as CFO of Bupa Global, India and UK having previously been Finance Director of Bupa’s UK Insurance business. Prior to that Siobhan was Finance Director at Resolution Life Group a global life insurance group. Earlier in her career Siobhan was Chief Internal Auditor of Coventry Building Society and CFO of LCG plc a listed retail trading business. Siobhan started her career at Deloitte where she spent ten years working both in the UK and in Australia. Siobhan is a Non-Executive Director at the Resolution Foundation and chairs the Wellbeing agenda for Business in the Community.
Rob Edmundson
Chief Transformation and Operation Officer, Bupa Global, India & UK
Rob is responsible for our customer and transformation agenda which includes leading our Brand, Digital and Data teams. He joined Bupa in 2013 and has held a variety of leadership roles across the organisation in marketing, digital and product management. Rob previously worked for Vodafone and started his career as a business consultant with Accenture.
Rebecca Pearson
Chief Sustainability and People Director, Bupa Global, India & UK
Rebecca started her career at Bupa over 30 years ago when she joined the Bupa UK Insurance business, building her leadership experience through several positions before joining Bupa Care Services in 2013. Rebecca held several leadership roles in Bupa Care Services and was promoted to General Manager in 2021. Rebecca moved into the Chief Sustainability & People Officer role for Bupa Global, India & UK in February 2025. Rebecca is passionate about world class colleague and customer experience, delivered through great people and driving continual improvement and innovation.
Sangeeta Suthar
Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Bupa Global, India & UK
Sangeeta leads media relations and government affairs for the Bupa Global, India and UK market unit. She joined Bupa in 2014, holding corporate affairs roles across Bupa Global, Bupa Group and BGIUK businesses, promoting and protecting Bupa's reputation to drive audience engagement and commercial growth.
Sangeeta joined Bupa from RSA Emerging Markets, leading strategic communication across its Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Asia operations, and prior to this, Compass Group UK & Ireland, the UK's leading hospitality and support services provider. She was previously in media agency, managing FTSE100 clients to drive media engagement and reach.
Stuart Brown
General Counsel Bupa Global, India & UK
Stuart joined Bupa in February 2018 as General Counsel, UK. Stuart was formerly General Counsel and Company Secretary at Guardian Financial Services Holdings before that he was Group Legal Director at Friends Life plc. Stuart has also held senior legal counsel positions at Swiss Re (Admin Re UK) and GE Insurance Solutions. Stuart trained and qualified into the Corporate Insurance team at Clifford Chance.
Mark Glenn
Chief Information Officer, Bupa Global, India & UK
Mark is the Chief Information Officer for the Bupa Global, India, & UK Market Unit. He joined Bupa in 2019. In his role he is accountable for technology across all Market Unit businesses, in service of our ambition to become the world’s most customer centric healthcare company. Mark is also accountable for technology for Bupa’s Group Functions (Finance, People etc).
Prior to joining Bupa, he worked for Barclays Bank for 13 years in a number of senior technology roles, most recently as Head of Change for Barclays UK and Chief Information Officer for Barclays’ European businesses. He has also worked in technology and change consulting for Cap Gemini and began his career developing software with Accenture.
Paul Davis
Chief Risk Director, Bupa Global, India & UK
Paul is the Chief Risk Officer, Bupa Global, India & UK and until October 2025 was also the CRO, BINS/BISL. Prior to joining the BGIUK Market Unit in 2024, Paul was Group Risk Director, Enterprise Risk & Governance. He has over 30 years of Legal, Compliance, Governance and Risk Management experience gained in-house internationally, and in private practice as a solicitor in the City of London. During his career at Standard Chartered Bank, Paul spent 13 years leading culturally diverse teams while based in Mumbai, Dubai and Hong Kong. Paul joined Bupa in 2015 and was a Market Unit CRO before becoming Deputy Group CRO in 2016. He is a former Board member of Bupa Arabia and was Chair of the Bupa Arabia Risk Committee.
Zelina Harrington-Greenwood
Chief Audit Officer, Bupa Global, India & UK
Zelina joined Bupa in February 2024 as the Chief Audit Officer for Bupa Global, India & UK. In this role Zelina is responsible for the internal audit coverage for UK Insurance, Bupa Global, Bupa Global DAC in Ireland, the UK Market Unit Provision businesses, and the UK IT audit team.
Zelina is focused on driving faster more effective and sustainable improvements in internal controls across the UK Market Unit, while actively contributing to build GIA into a highly effective and continuously improving function reflecting Bupa's values and business transformation.
Zelina has previously worked for the AA, Tokio Marine Kiln, Liberty Speciality Markets and Marsh and McLennan holding a number of senior internal audit, risk and operational roles. She's also a Fellow Chartered Accountant, holds the Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma and is a co-opted member of the Audit Committee at UCAS.
Dr Petra Simić
Chief Medical Officer, Bupa Global, India & UK
Petra is the Chief Medical Officer for Bupa Global, India & UK, having previously been the Medical Director for the Health Clinics business for the last four years. In her role, she is responsible for the safety and effectiveness of services delivered by Bupa.
During her time in Bupa Health Clinics, she has led and grown a team who deliver a number of private health services, including health assessments, primary care appointments, telehealth, dermatology, physiotherapy and mental health, as well as helped create new products to support people with their ever-changing health needs, such as the Bupa Menopause Plan, Genomics and Weight Management Plan.
Petra remains practising as an NHS GP, and prior to joining Bupa in 2016 was a GP partner in Hertfordshire. She is passionate about delivering high quality Primary Care, developing strong
and stable
communities of excellent clinicians, and creating innovative, customer centred and cost-effective ways to
deliver health care.
