Latest awards

Lesley Tart, home manager at St Mary's nursing home - winner of Dementia Care Manager 2011.

Jim Dickinson, whose wife is a resident at Bupa's Havering Court, was a finalist for Best Resident/Relative Contribution 2011.

John Grant, unit manager at Bupa's Hatton Lea Care Home was awarded Nurse of the Year at Scottish Care's National Care Awards - December 2011.

The team at Arran View Care Home won the 'Meaningful Activity' award at Scottish Care's National Care Awards, for activities introduced within the home to help those with dementia.

Awards 2010

Jacqui Atwell of Millview Care Home in Glasgow won the Care Home Carer Award at the Daily Mail's Carer of the Year awards 2010.

Jennifer Haywood from Birch Court Nursing and Residential Home, Kelly Ormand of West Ridings Residential and Nursing Home, Daisy Holland from The Sidcup Nursing and Residential Centre and Bradley Brandon from Ghyll Grove Residential and Nursing Home were all ‘Apprentice of the Year’ finalists.

Graham Taylor from Heathbrook House won The Care Team Award.

Bradley Brandon of Ghyll Grove Residential and Nursing Home was the finalist in the National Skills Care competition.

Community Champion of the Year Award went to Mary Fox, the Activity Co-ordinator at The Highgate Care Home Glasgow.

Fundraiser of the Year (Third Place) was awarded to Martin Mora, the maintenance man at Field House Nursing Home.
