Targeted Cancer Screening for your team
What it is
A screening for signs of some of the most common cancers.
All cancer screenings include:
- a full medical history review
- an examination if needed
- time with a doctor to talk through any concerns
- help with next steps, which could include a referral
We can check for:
- cervical cancer (age 25+)
- prostate cancer (age 50+, age 45+ if clinically indicated)
- bowel cancer (age 45+)
- breast cancer
- testicular cancer

How the offer works
Get a quote between 6 January and 3 June 2025, for schemes with a start date between 1 April and 1 July 2025, and we’ll give you an allowance to spend on our Targeted Cancer Screening.
The benefit allowance we’ll give you depends on the size of your business:
- £600 benefit allowance for schemes of 100-149
- £900 benefit allowance for schemes of 150-199
- £1200 benefit allowance for schemes of 200-249
- £1500 benefit allowance for schemes of 250-399
- £2000 benefit allowance for schemes of 400-500
And you can top up your benefit allowance and purchase additional cancer screenings directly if you wish.

Terms and conditions
- 1. In these terms and conditions, references to “Bupa” are to Bupa Insurance Limited, which may act through its agent Bupa Insurance Services Limited.
- 2. The Offer is available to UK registered medium sized corporate entities (including, for example, companies, partnerships, and associations) covering 100 – 500 members (“mid corporate”) who purchase a new Select Policy from Bupa (either directly or through a broker).
- 3. Reference to mid corporate customers means new business customers with a scheme of 100-500 main members.
- 4. The Offer is available to new mid corporate clients, given an experience rated price, including master trusts, those switching from an alternative company health insurance provider, and is not available for the existing Bupa clients who hold a policy for any Bupa product or service, or SME age-rated priced scheme. The Offer will not be available to consumers, or businesses under 100 employees, or who intend on covering over 500 employees, or any existing customer or group that already has a Bupa policy or any trust schemes.
- 5. Eligible new businesses will receive a benefit allowance to be used across their business for its employees to access targeted cancer screening. This will be limited to the benefit allowance set and shall apply for the first year of cover (the “Offer”) when purchasing a new Bupa Select Company PMI Policy (the “Select Policy”) subject to these terms and conditions. The Offer cannot be used against any other Bupa product or service. Bupa targeted cancer screening are provided by Bupa occupational health.
- 6. Eligible mid-corporate new businesses can use up to their stated benefit allowance to redeem against one targeted cancer screening appointment for its members.
- 7. Targeted cancer Screening; £189 per appointment.
Benefit allowance in line with registration numbers as follows:
- - £600 benefit allowance (allowing for 3 appointments) for main members only, for new business schemes of 100-149 registrants.
- - £900 benefit allowance (allowing for 4 appointments) for main members only, for new business schemes of 150-199 registrants.
- - £1,200 benefit allowance (allowing for 6 appointments) for main members only, for new business schemes of 200-249 registrants.
- - £1,500 benefit allowance (allowing for 7 appointments) for main members only, for new business schemes of 250-399 registrants.
- - £2,000 benefit allowance (allowing for 10 appointments) for main members only, for new business schemes of 400-500 registrants.
Any spend which exceeds the benefit allowance or is used on plans outside of offer agreement will need to be covered by you and will be responsible for paying any applicable fees and charges.
- 8. The Offer will include one 30-minute session with a GP who will carry out tests relevant to the specific cancers being screened. The GP will have a discussion with the member following the test and refer them for any follow-up assessments. The Offer will not be applied in subsequent policy years. If you want to discuss taking on these plans at renewal, after the first year of cover, beyond this offer period, targeted cancer screenings are available alongside the Corporate Select Policy.
- 9. The Offer is only available for new or switching mid corporate clients for whom an experience-rated quote is provided for a Select Policy.
- 10. Quotes are available 6th January 2025 to 3rd June 2025 and remain valid for 28 days; contracts must commence within 90 days and the Select Policy must have a start date between 1st April 2025 and 1st July 2025 inclusive. Bupa’s standard Terms of Business and Bupa Select Policy Terms & Conditions will apply. All employees of the mid corporate client (including those not covered by the Select Policy) and any new main members that become employed by the mid corporate client after the Select Policy has started, will be eligible to access the targeted cancer screening during the first year of cover. Members who stop being employed by the mid corporate client will not be eligible to access a targeted cancer screening.
- 11. All selected employee names should be handed over to Bupa Account Manager within the first three months of scheme. Any appointments not taken within the first year of cover cannot be carried over to the following year and will be forfeited by the client.
- 12. A cancellation policy applies to all appointments booked but not attended. Members can change or cancel their appointment up to 24 hours before their scheduled appointment. If the eligible Member cancels with less than 5 working days’ notice, or does not attend the appointment, the Member will lose eligibility of the allowance to use for a targeted cancer screening. The allowance to the business client will also be lost and the appointment cannot be rebooked.
- 13. Bupa reserves the right to decline to offer a Corporate Select Policy in its absolute discretion, and Bupa’s decision regarding any aspect of this promotion is final.
- 14. Bupa reserves the right to cancel, suspend, amend, or withdraw the Offer at any point without prior notice. The Offer is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, has no cash value/alternative and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or offers.
- 15. When calculating renewal prices for a Select Policy, Bupa considers additional factors such as (but not limited to) claims history, additional claims or referrals that may stem from taking one of these Plans, age of members, the rising cost of healthcare and insurance premium tac (IPT), which will be factored into each year’s renewal subscription.
- 16. Bupa will use any personal information in accordance with its privacy notice which can be found at bupa.co.uk/privacy
- 17. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bupa and its group companies shall not be liable to the mid corporate client or any of its employees for any claims, damages, or any other losses whatsoever under or in connection with the operation of the Offer.
- 18. These terms & conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
