Poole care home celebrates ‘Good’ rating by CQC

The Lindsay Bupa Care home has been rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), following its latest inspection.

CQC Rated ‘Good’ across All key areas

The CQC report assessed The Lindsay as 'Good' in all areas: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. The inspectors found that residents feel safe living at The Lindsay and believe the staff are kind and caring.

One relative commented: “Staff all work together, they respect each other, and they respect the residents too.”

Commenting on the staff’s professionalism, another one said: “I am completely confident in the work they do.”

Raising the bar for residential and dementia care in Poole

The report stated that The Lindsay has a proactive and positive culture of safety, based on openness and honesty. Residents said they are treated with respect and supported to live their lives well.

One resident, Eileen Campbell, said: “I love living here! The facilities are very good and presented to a very high standard. I feel very well cared for and the team are fantastic at putting on fun activities to entertain us.”

Another resident, Joan Jones, commented: “The staff are friendly and caring; they are always happy to help me with anything and take time out of their day to have a chat with me.”
