Introducing our Bupa Blua Health app

We’ve recently launched the Bupa Blua Health app; our new digital healthcare service, now available to our consumer and SME customers (coming soon for our corporate customers). Please read below for further guidance on what this means for you and your employees.

What is Bupa Blua Health?

Bupa Blua Health is defining a new standard in digital healthcare. A quality stamp that brings together convenient and connected healthcare with our clinical expertise, all personalised to your employees.

We've started this exciting journey with Bupa Blua Health, our new health app, where your employees can book their digital appointments.

With the Bupa Blua Health app your employees can:

  • Book 24/7 GP appointments
  • Access personalised healthcare insights
  • Get support with Symptom Checker
  • Order and track prescriptions

This is just the start with more features launching soon that will provide seamless and convenient access to healthcare.

It’s a simple and connected way to access healthcare professionals for non-urgent healthcare. Users can see available appointments, book online, and meet their healthcare professional virtually, at any time - whether it's a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, physiotherapist, or mental health nurse.

After their appointment, your employees will have easy access to their referrals, fit notes, and prescriptions - so they’ll continue to get all the help and support they need.

Who is the Blua Health app available to and when?

The Bupa Blua Health app is available for anyone that has PMI who are eligible for the digital primary care benefit, to download via app stores with smartphone and android devices.

SME Clients; We're starting communications to our SME customers and their employees over the coming weeks, so look out for these and speak to your account manager or intermediary partner for more information.

Corporate Clients; We'll be launching the Bupa Blua Health app to our corporate customers in the new year, so look out for more information on how we'll support you and your employees with the transition. We’ll ensure we consult and plan deployment for each corporate account, and Babylon Digital GP will remain available for all clients for the foreseeable future.
