How the offer works

The monetary benefit allowance value is dependent on your scheme size of the new business, for example:

£600 benefit allowance for schemes of 100-149
£900 benefit allowance for schemes of 150-199
£1200 benefit allowance for schemes of 200-249
£1500 benefit allowance for schemes 250-400.

Benefit allowance can be spent on Private GP and/or Women’s Health Plans (Period Plan OR Menopause Plan) in any variation based on agreed pricing.

Private GP Plan; £150        Period Plan; £249        Menopause Plan; £299

Any spend which; exceeds the benefit allowance or is used on plans outside of offer agreement will need to be covered as pay as you go.

Access to Menopause Plan, Period Plan or Private GP Plans included with first year of cover. Benefit allowance varies depending on new business scheme size and is only available to new business customers covering between 100-400 main members. Select Policy quote is available 1st July 2023 to 30th September 2023 and is valid for 28 days. T&Cs apply.

Full terms and conditions

  1. 1. In these terms and conditions, references to “Bupa” are to Bupa Insurance Limited, which may act through its agent Bupa Insurance Services Limited.
  2. 2. Reference to SMC customers include new business customers with a scheme of 100-400 registrants.
  3. 3. Eligible new businesses will receive a benefit allowance to be used across the business for its employees to access the Women’s Health Plan options that consists of either Bupa Menopause Plan and Bupa Period Plan, or Private GP Plan (unlimited private GP appointments per person per year). This will be limited to the benefit allowance set and apply for the first year of cover (the “Offer”) when purchasing a new Bupa Select Company PMI Policy (the “Select Policy”) subject to these terms and conditions. The Offer cannot be used against any other Bupa product or service. Bupa Women's Health Plans and Private GP Plans are provided by Bupa Occupational Health Limited.
  4. 4. Eligible new businesses** can use up to their stated benefit allowance to redeem against either Women’s Health Plans*or Private GP Plans for its members
  5. 5. *Member/Employee can choose Menopause Plan or Period Plan
  6. 6. **over 100 registrations required,
  7. 7. Benefit allowance in line with registration numbers as follows:
    • £600 benefit allowance for schemes of 100-149,
    • £900 benefit allowance for schemes of 150-199,
    • £1200 benefit allowance for schemes of 200-249,
    • £1500 benefit allowance for schemes 250-400.
  8. 8. Benefit allowance can be spent on Private GP or Women’s Health Plans (Period Plan OR Menopause Plan) in any variation based on agreed pricing.

  12. 12. Any spend which; exceeds the benefit allowance or is used on plans outside of offer agreement will need to be covered by the organisation as pay as you go.
  13. 13. The Offer will not be applied in subsequent policy years. If you wish to continue to have access to either Menopause Plans, Period Plans or Private GP Appointments, after the first year of cover, you must request this at renewal of the Corporate Select Policy and pay any applicable fees and charges.
  14. 14. The Offer is available to UK registered medium sized corporate entities (including, for example, companies, partnerships, and associations) covering 100 - 400 members (“SMCs”) who purchase a new Select Policy from Bupa (either directly or through a broker).
  15. 15. The Offer is available to new SMC clients, given an experience rated price, including those switching from an alternative company health insurance provider, and is not available for the existing Bupa clients who hold a policy for any Bupa product or service, or SME age-rated priced scheme
  16. 16. The Offer is only available for new or switching SMC clients for whom an experience-rated quote is provided for a Select Policy.
  17. 17. Quotes are valid for 28 days, and the Select Policy must have a start date between 3rd July 2023 and 1st October 2023 inclusive. Bupa’s standard Terms of Business and Bupa Select Policy Terms & Conditions will apply. All employees of the SMC client (including those not covered by the Select Policy) and any new main members that become employed by the SMC client after the Select Policy has started, will be eligible to access any Menopause Plan, Period Plan or Private GP Plan during the first year of cover. Members who stop being employed by the SMC client will not be eligible to access a Menopause Plan, Period Plan or Private GP Plan. Any appointments not taken within the first year of cover cannot be carried over to the following year and will be forfeited by the client.
  18. 18. A cancellation policy applies to all appointments booked but not attended. Members can change or cancel their appointment up to 5 working days before their scheduled appointment. If the eligible Member cancels with less than 5 working days’ notice, or does not attend the appointment, the Member will lose eligibility of the allowance to use for a Menopause Plan, Period Plan or Private GP Appointment.
  19. 19. Bupa reserves the right to decline to offer a Select Policy in its absolute discretion, and Bupa’s decision regarding any aspect of this promotion is final.
  20. 20. Bupa reserves the right to cancel, suspend, amend, or withdraw the Offer at any point without prior notice. The Offer is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, has no cash value/alternative and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or offers
  21. 21. When calculating renewal prices for a Select Policy, Bupa considers additional factors such as (but not limited to) claims history, additional claims, age of members, the rising cost of healthcare and IPT, which will be factored into each year’s renewal subscription.
  22. 22. Bupa will use any personal information in accordance with its privacy notice which can be found at bupa.co.uk/privacy
  23. 23. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bupa and its group companies shall not be liable to the SME client or any of its employees for any claims, damages, or any other losses whatsoever under or in connection with the operation of the Offer.
  24. 24. These terms & conditions shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
