Residents strike a pose for fathers day photoshoot
Residents at Pebble Mill Bupa Care Home celebrated Father’s Day on Sunday 16 June, with a professional photoshoot.
The Pebble Mill team arranged the shoot so residents could gift a photo to their loved ones. Residents’ family and friends were also invited to join in a Father’s Day celebration at the home.
Home Manager, Heidi Scott, arranged the occasion as a keen photographer, and set up the photo shoot in the home with her professional backdrop, lights, and camera.
Heidi said: “I thought it would be a nice way to acknowledge the day and give residents something physical and sentimental they could pass onto their families. The residents were thrilled to receive their photo and show their family and friends.
“The photos turned out beautifully, with nearly all residents participating in having their photo taken! All the families were grateful to receive a special gift of their Father or Grandfather dressed up and with a big smile.”
Resident and war veteran Donald wore his medals and blazer for his photo.
Donald said “I am so proud of my achievements and felt very special on this day. The photos will be a great keepsake for myself and my family.”
