A warm welcome to our practice
Bupa Dental Care Alderney is located in the seaside town of Poole, Dorset, and is well established in the local community for providing dental services for the whole family. We love putting smiles on our patients’ faces.
We offer a wide range of NHS and private treatments and services, from general check-ups to orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. We also offer emergency appointments.
Treatments and services
As well as routine check-ups and hygiene appointments, we provide various cosmetic treatment options that can help to brighten your smile. These include dental implants, veneers, teeth whitening and straightening. We perform digital dentistry, dental microscopy and laser dentistry here at the Practice.

We’re situated on Ringwood Road in the seaside town of Poole.
If you’re coming by car, you’ll be pleased to know that we have free on-site parking at the Practice. We also have great local transport links around Poole and South Dorset.
We’re located on the ground floor and our practice is wheelchair accessible.
Hours to suit you
We know our patients have busy lives, so we offer flexible appointment times to help accommodate you. We have extended opening hours two nights a week, and also open on Saturday mornings.

No, orthodontics for adults is becoming more and more common. We can talk through your options with you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
Fillings repair small holes in your tooth enamel. If they aren’t filled, the decay will deepen. You’ll start to feel pain, and you could end up needing root canal treatment, which is much more significant and costs more. So although you might not feel pain right now, it’s best to repair these holes as soon as possible.
