At Bupa Dental Care we offer a range of payment options:
Pay per appointment for NHS and private dental care
You can pay for your dental treatment as and when you visit the practice, whether for an NHS or a private appointment. Our practices accept all major credit cards. You can also pay by debit card or cash. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept cheques.
Dental payment plan
Bupa Smile Plan helps you to commit to regular routine dental care.

- Includes up to two routine X-rays where needed

Dental finance
Apply for dental finance through Novuna Personal Finance**:
- Finance for private treatment costing from £250 to £50,000
- Helps to spread the cost of dental treatments
- 0% APR finance available
Dental Insurance
Depending on your cover, routine treatments such as check-ups and cleans may now be fully covered by your policy. Treatment can be carried out at either an NHS practice or a private clinic. Waiting periods may apply after purchasing a policy before certain claims can be made, although some treatments may be eligible for immediate claim (depending on the terms of your cover).
Bupa Dental Care practices offer up to 20% off the cost of general dental treatments for Bupa Dental insurance members. We can also contact Bupa Insurance for you via their Instant Claim service, keeping everything as simple and straightforward as possible. Private health insurance
Self-paying Bupa private health insurance policies*** come with a dental allowance for everyone on your policy.
The dental allowance includes one appointment every year at a Bupa Dental Care practice and a £300 allowance towards restorative treatments including fillings, bridges and crowns.
The dental allowance is included on new and existing policies.
*Equivalent appointment prices of included treatments (check-up & hygiene appointments) are an average of 10% less than when booked as a standalone appointment. (77% of 332 participating practices.)
