Small to medium sized businesses and large corporations are eligible for a free Dental Plan included with first year of health cover.
Yes. However, employees will need to pay for their treatment and then claim some or all of it back, depending on the limits of your cover, within 12 months of your treatment date.
Following your appointment, you must ensure your receipt contains the following information:
- name of the person receiving the dental treatment;
- date the dental treatment took place;
- details of dental treatment received including the cost of each;
- the dental practice name, address and telephone number; and
- proof that you ve paid for your dental treatment.
Please note if there is information missing or we are unable to read the information provided, it may delay your claim or result in us being unable to pay your claim
Yes. Members can also include dependants on their cover which can include partners and children.
Children under 2 can be added as a dependant for free.
Dependants can make claims on the policy the same way main members can. They can also access policy features such as Blua Health and Anytime HealthLine.Yes. Members with dental insurance can get up to 20% discount when using a Bupa Dental Centre in our network for their check-up or treatment. To claim the discount, you must inform the dentist you have Bupa dental insurance and provide your membership number prior to your appointment.
10% or 20% discounts are available depending on the practice and the dentist you are seeing. To find the selected Bupa owned and approved centres where this offer is available go to finder.bupa.co.uk and search the Bupa Dental Insurance Network.
Discount excludes laboratory fees and specialist treatment and cannot be used against NHS and Bupa Dental Essentials services.
Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.
