Helping your employees take greater control of a long-term condition
If your employees have a long-term chronic illness, we believe it shouldn’t stop them living and working the way they want.
The symptoms of conditions like muscle, bone and joint issues, heart problems or diabetes have physical effects. That’s in addition to all those worries and uncertainties that can have repercussions when it comes to your employees’ emotional wellbeing.
We offer two levels of cover for chronic illness
Chronic Cover‡
Chronic Cover helps your employees live with a wide range of long-term conditions such as diabetes, heart problems or muscle, bone and joint issues with fewer worries. With fast access to out-patient consultations, diagnostics and therapies, plus wellbeing support through their mental health benefits, it can enable them to manage their condition with more confidence. Helping reduce the overall impact it has on their life - at home and at work.
Chronic Cover Plus‡ (for large corporate schemes)
Chronic Cover Plus provides targeted support and additional benefits to those living with muscle, bone & joint issues and heart problems, in addition to the standard chronic cover provision. With focused case management, additional support and monitoring to ensure ongoing care thereby reducing the impact on their home and working lives.
Our cover is designed to help your employees live their day-to-day lives with fewer worries.
Minimise time off and improve productivity by helping your employees work with their condition
Fast access to out-patient consultations, diagnostics and therapies
Comprehensive emotional wellbeing support and 24/7 access to Bupa Anytime HealthLine
†Please note: In-patient, out-patient and day-patient benefit limits and exclusions for pre-existing conditions still apply to our cover for mental health conditions.
‡Mental health benefits must be included on your scheme in order to opt in to this benefit.
All chronic conditions are covered, as long as any eligible treatment is provided by a Bupa-recognised consultant. General exclusions still apply.
