An individually tailored, year-long programme of reassurance and improvement for your employees
Our employee health assessments are designed to give people a better understanding of their health, wellbeing and risks. They include checks and discussions on the day, for both physical and mental health, plus 12 months’ ongoing support.
They’re just one of our Bupa Be.Well options for helping to boost the wellbeing, motivation and productivity of your workforce. You don’t even need to be a Bupa health insurance customer.
We provide helpful management information
If you sign up for six team members or more, we can send you regular management reports. These are anonymised, but they can reveal the health risks that affect your people the most, so you can focus on those first.
Bring out the best in your people
Our latest generation of health assessments could help your employees to perform better at work by enabling them to take greater control over their wellbeing. For a full year, they’ll get the information, support and encouragement they need to make positive lifestyle changes. And that could help them to live longer, happier, healthier and more productive lives.
If your business has two or more employees, you could offer Bupa health assessments as an attractive addition to your benefits packages. This can help you to recruit and retain great people as well as contributing to other business goals, such as:
- Motivating, engaging and empowering your employees
- Boosting productivity
- Tackling absenteeism
- Managing anxiety and stress at work
- Improving health and fitness
- Meeting your duty of care
We provide a full year’s plan, not just a snapshot on one day.
Our employee health assessments are more than just check-ups. They’re fully tailored health and wellbeing plans that last a whole year, helping employees to set personal goals and to make lasting, positive lifestyle changes.
For 12 months, your employees will continue to receive our support and expert advice, and they can get in touch if an unexpected health concern crops up on our Anytime HealthLine. And that’s important, because people perform better when they’re feeling at their best.
Each employee health plan is personalised around the individual’s own lifestyle and goals, covering things like nutrition, sleep, exercise and mental health. So every employee can work towards becoming a better version of themselves.
What kind of Return On Investment could you expect?
We understand that you’re looking for cost benefits as well as employee health and wellbeing benefits. So when you call and speak to one of our helpful advisers, they’ll ask you for some basic metrics and then offer you a likely ROI calculation for your business.
For example, let’s say your business has 150 eligible employees with an average salary of £28,122. You’d want to weigh up the savings you might make from our health assessments (like increased productivity and reduced absenteeism) versus the annual cost. Here’s what our calculator reveals:
These calculations are based on data from previous heath assessments which may have been differently named and may have included different health checks and tests.
Our assessments can help your employees make positive health changes

Yes. We’ve worked hard to ensure we have all the hygiene procedures, equipment and training in place to keep our health centres as safe as possible. On arrival, during the assessment and on departure, we take careful precautions to protect your employees – and ours.
The door will be locked, but the receptionist will greet your employee and ask them to put on a mask and sanitise their hands. They’ll be asked if they have any COVID-19 symptoms and their temperature will be taken. If they have no symptoms, the health assessment can begin.
Our health advisers will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), as will the doctor if your employee’s health assessment includes time with a GP. The doctor will only enter the room once the health adviser has left. All discussions will be from a safe distance, and any tests will be carried out with the appropriate PPE in place.
