Karishma studied biochemistry (BSc Hons) at Queen Mary University of London before qualifying in dentistry (BDS) at Peninsula Dental School, Plymouth in 2016. She continued foundation training in Bicester, followed by dental core training in oral and maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. Since graduating, she has achieved a postgraduate Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCSEd).

Karishma is a general dentist who has been offering her services at Bupa Dental Care Accrington since 2020. She is trained to provide Invisalign Go treatment for short-term orthodontics as well as SleepWell snoring devices.
