Ayad Hassoon qualified in 2016, and has worked in dentistry both privately and in the NHS. He has a lot of enthusiasm for dentistry, and particularly appreciates the more challenging cases he comes across. Ayad has also worked as a mentor at an outreach programme for fourth and fifth year Sheffield University students.

Ayad has an interest in prosthodontics (veneers, crowns and dentures) as well as Invisalign aligner treatment and general dentistry.

Ayad appreciates that being a dentist allows him to make a meaningful impact on people’s overall health and wellbeing, and he finds it rewarding to combine scientific knowledge with hands-on clinical skills to solve problems, relieve pain and improve smiles and confidence. The variety of procedures and patient needs keeps the work engaging, and he enjoys being able to educate patients about their oral health and empower them to take better care of themselves.

Outside of dentistry, Ayad enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his wife, 20 month-old son and newborn daughter.
