Wendy has a diploma in postgraduate dental studies (anxiety control, sedation, oral surgery and oral medicine) and specialises in facial rejuvenation. She has also completed an implantology course at the University of Cambridge.

Wendy is also a former world champion track cyclist and olympic medallist, having taken a career break to represent the Great Britain and Northern Ireland Olympic Team at two Olympic Games in 2008 and 2012.
