Training and qualifications
Dr Coralie Hobbs graduated from the University of Sheffield with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2017, where she was awarded the orthodontics prize. She went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics through ACE, graduating with distinction in 2020. Most recently, she achieved a Master’s (MSc) in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Birmingham in 2024, also with distinction.
Coralie has a particular passion for managing complex dental cases. Drawing on her dual expertise in orthodontics and restorative dentistry, she creates comprehensive, holistic treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. She provides orthodontic care for both children and adults—her oldest orthodontic patient being in their 70s—believing that it’s never too late to improve a smile.
As a certified Invisalign provider, Coralie also offers conventional fixed braces and is trained in the use of Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs), which are sometimes required for more advanced tooth movements. Her approach is always patient-focused, combining function with aesthetics to achieve beautiful, long-lasting results.
Coralie is passionate about aesthetic dentistry and strives to make all her treatments as natural-looking as possible. She routinely uses composite (white) fillings and has a special interest in managing tooth wear, particularly in cases where the bite needs to be rebalanced or restored.
Treatments offered
Coralie provides a full range of general dental care, including routine check-ups, hygiene advice, and restorative treatments. She believes that even the most straightforward procedures should be carried out with precision and an eye for aesthetics—whether placing a simple filling or planning a more complex restoration.
Her clinical interests lie in the intersection of orthodontics and restorative dentistry, where she is able to combine both disciplines to deliver transformative results. She enjoys working on cases that require a multidisciplinary approach, particularly those involving tooth wear, occlusal dysfunction, or full-mouth rehabilitation. Her ability to assess the bigger picture—how teeth function, align, and appear—allows her to create treatment plans that are not only technically sound but also tailored to each patient’s lifestyle and goals.
Coralie is experienced in providing orthodontic treatment to both children and adults, and is passionate about making tooth straightening accessible to all ages. She offers Invisalign as well as fixed braces, and is trained in the use of Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) to support more complex movements when needed. She also restores dental implants and is currently undergoing further training in implant placement to expand the scope of care she can offer her patients.
In addition to her general practice, Coralie welcomes referrals for patients requiring advanced care in the following areas:
- Adult orthodontics
- Child orthodontics
- Invisalign treatment
- Complex restorative cases
- Occlusal dysfunction
- Tooth wear management
- Crown lengthening
- Complex crown and bridge work
- Implant restorative work
- Aesthetic and cosmetic concerns (including composite bonding)
- Non-surgical periodontal treatment
Whether delivering everyday care or managing intricate cases, Coralie’s calm, thoughtful approach and commitment to excellence ensure her patients feel supported and confident throughout their treatment journey.
