Training and qualifications
Richard Potter joined the RAF at 18 and trained as a pilot, going on to gain his airline license. He later decided to change direction and went to university in 2004 to train in dentistry.
What Richard loves about dentistry is the balance — helping people manage pain, but also seeing the difference it makes to their confidence and self-esteem. Richard also enjoys the variety of general dentistry rather than focusing on one special interest, as he likes the mix of different cases and patients each day.
