Training and qualifications
Neil is a graduate from Queen’s University Belfast with over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of dental care, including conscious sedation for anxious patients. He has undertaken several postgraduate certification courses, including those in Advanced Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry.
Neil has over 15 years of experience in dental implantology, encompassing all aspects of dental implant placement, restoration of missing teeth and guided bone regeneration and digital implant planning. He particularly enjoys restoring a patient's smile, function and confidence. He has been awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology with distinction (2023).
Neil is also a Member of the Association of Dental Implantology, the International Team for Implantology and The Aesthetic Complications Expert Group.
Treatments offered
Neil has a keen interest in facial aesthetics, in particular the use of injectables in aesthetic medicine for elimination of fine lines and wrinkles.
One of Dr Strong's special interests is the use of botulinum toxin for the alleviation of pain and discomfort from jaw clenching (bruxism) and accepts referrals for this treatment. Neil was one of the first dentists in Northern Ireland to gain a Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Injectables in Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr Strong has also been providing Invisalign comprehensive discreet orthodontic aligners for over ten years to treat a variety of orthodontic concerns, including teeth that are crooked, crowded or with gaps.
Neil has a wealth of experience in dental implantology, cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry, facial aesthetics and treating anxious and nervous patients, which allows a fully patient-centred holistic approach to dental treatment.
