Training and qualifications
Since qualifying, Miles has developed interests in beautiful functional smiles. He has postgraduate qualifications in restorative dentistry, sedation and pain management, and dental implantology. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Miles has been involved with the placement and restoration of dental implants since 2007, gaining much experience since. He’s one of only a handful of dentists in Europe to have become a Dawson Academy scholar, an American academy that teaches complete dentistry involving the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), masticatory muscles and stable occlusions. Over the years he has provided sedation for hundreds of nervous patients.
Miles likes to work in a team to make sure every detail is worked out and a holistic approach is applied. Miles can help guide his patients from reconstructing failing teeth to smile design and smiles that complement and bring out the individual’s character. He has studied in the USA, Europe and Hong Kong, and been mentored by some of the greatest dentists in their fields.
