Training and qualifications

Originally from Australia, Steve qualified in dentistry from Sydney University in 1981. He then spent four years in the Royal Australian Air Force as a dental officer, where he developed a keen interest in surgical dental procedures.

Steve is committed to postgraduate education and has completed a one-year course in surgical and reconstructive dentistry involving dental implants, as well as the diploma in General Dental Surgery. He is also experienced at providing intravenous dental sedation.

Steve is a registered mentor with the Association of Dental Implantology and a clinical coach for AstraTech UK, where he teaches other dentists about implant dentistry. He is the chairman and founder of the Wessex Dental Implantology Society, which provides postgraduate education for dentists and their teams around dental implant work.
