Dr Alaasam earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the European University of Madrid in 2013. Since relocating to the UK, he practised dentistry in various settings within the NHS and privately. He then successfully completed a master's degree in periodontics (MSc), reflecting his interest within dentistry.

Haider now works in private dental practice providing surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatment including management of periodontal pocketing, mucogingival surgery, crown lengthening, implant placement, peri-implantitis management and bone grafting.

Dr. Alaasam is trilingual, fluent in English, Spanish and Arabic. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys playing padel and travelling.
