Training and qualifications
In 2007 Kevin continued with his studies to be one of the first UK registered denturists qualifying with the Royal College of Surgeons England. After nearly 20 years of clinical development he qualified as a Bifunctional Prosthetic System (BPS) provider as well as a Secure Dentures (CQR) trainer and provider. Kevin is a director for the Denturist Association and the Clinical Dental Technicians Association (CDTA) UK working with the General Dental Council as a stakeholder on behalf of all UK denturists and CDTs. He also runs an educational, discussion and mentoring forum for trainee and qualified CDTs. Kevin started his career in dentistry as a dental technologist in the family business based at Great Oakley, Northamptonshire and became a registered dental technician in 1990. He has consistently strived to educate and train with renowned tutors in Europe to offer patients the very best service. He graduated from the International Denturist Centre in Toronto, Canada in 2004 qualifying as one of the first 80 denturists in the UK. He has produced several publications on denture function and aesthetics and has contributed to major dental industry magazines.
