Dr. Shalash graduated with honours from the faculty of dentistry, Cairo University in 2005, gained his master’s degree in endodontics in 2011 and his PhD in laser treatment applications in endodontics in 2023.

Dr. Shalash also holds two prestigious speciality memberships in endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and is a speciality examiner for endodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He also holds a consultant level in endodontics in Cairo and is a senior clinical lecturer of restorative dentistry and endodontics at Bristol University.

Dr. Shalash’s numerous specialist academic qualifications from the UK and abroad are a testament to his skills in root canal and restorative treatment.

With this wealth of skill and knowledge obtained over 18 years, we’re delighted that Dr. Shalash has recently joined Bupa Dental Care. He is now providing excellent endodontic care at our practice in Mermaid Quay Cardiff Bay, and welcomes referrals from dentists in need of his endodontics expertise.
