Teresa obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1999 and Master of Orthodontics in 2005 from the University of Hong Kong. She achieved the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2005. She was conferred Specialist in Orthodontics in Hong Kong in 2008 and granted Fellowship of College of Dental Surgeons Hong Kong (Orthodontics) and Fellowship of Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Dental Surgery).

Since 2005, Teresa has been a part-time clinical lecturer in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the faculty of dentistry at the University of Hong Kong. She established her solo practice orthodontic specialist clinic in Hong Kong in 2009 and moved to the UK in 2024 and registered with GDC as a specialist in orthodontics.

Teresa is an experienced and dedicated professional with over 24 years of expertise in dentistry, specialising in orthodontics for the past 18 years. She is skilled in the treatment of fixed appliances, interceptive orthodontic treatment, clear aligner treatment, functional appliance therapy, dentofacial orthopedics and deformities requiring orthognathic surgery.
