After graduating from Newcastle Dental School in 2002, Joanna worked in a general mixed dental practice in Teesside, prior to joining Whole Tooth Dental in April 2007. In her role, she enjoys providing family dentistry with a customised approach, and employing her skills in dental aesthetics, occlusion and alignment.

In 2006, Vimal established the practice as Whole Tooth Dental, and ran it for many years under this name. Today, Vimal focuses on dentistry, and enjoys treating his patients, using the skills he has developed over the years.

He qualified from dentistry in 1993, at the University of Leeds, and is highly experienced in all aspects of general dentistry. He enjoys keeping up to date with dentistry techniques and trends and attends numerous courses and conferences on a regular basis.

He has a wealth of dentistry knowledge and experience and has treated many complex dental cases over the years. He enjoys working with patients to improve their smiles, while making their visits as stress free and comfortable as possible.

Treatments offered

Asal’s passions lie in restoring patients’ smiles with a range of treatments, including Invisalign and composite bonding. She endeavours to create a calming environment wherein she listens to her patients’ concerns and alleviates their anxieties. Asal is currently undertaking her postgraduate diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry, as she is motivated to further enhance her skills and offers the highest quality of care to her patients.

Treatments offered

Selma trained in facial aesthetics three years ago and has developed a keen interest and passion for such procedures. She loves seeing the results that these relatively painless treatments can achieve and the impact that they can have on people’s confidence. She also provides a range of anti-ageing treatments that can help create a smoother, fresher appearance.

Cara qualified from Eastman Dental Hospital in 2007. She has a friendly and caring approach, and enjoys helping patients look after their gums and maintain good oral health. She motivates patients to improve their at-home dental hygiene techniques, so future dental complications are minimised.

Hina qualified as a dental nurse in March 2004, while working at a private central London practice. In September 2016, she joined the Eastman Dental Hospital to train as a dental hygienist and qualified in June 2018.

She has completed her radiography qualification and further CBCT qualification, too. She ensures that patients are well looked after and comfortable during their treatments and time at Bupa Dental Care Leighton Buzzard.

Karen has a particular interest in dental sedation and is completing her training to be able to help nervous patients visiting the practice.

Lisa also assists with treatment and is a valued member of the Bupa Dental Care Leighton Buzzard team.

She enjoys all aspects of dental nursing, particularly assisting with the placement of composite fillings. She is keen to build on her dental knowledge and takes pride in ensuring that the clinic flows throughout the day. Marcella loves assisting the dentist or hygienist and enjoys making sure that our patients feel calm and happy.

She is friendly, welcoming and has extensive knowledge of dental processes and procedures, allowing her to efficiently assist patients throughout their patient journey. She qualified at Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital, London, and holds a national diploma in Dental Nursing NEBDN.

She is our radiation protection lead and coordinates the maintenance for the practice too. She keeps Bupa Dental Care Leighton Buzzard organised and up to date with the latest updates in procedures and policies.

Emma manages the clinical aspects of the day-to-day running of the practice. She is also an experienced dental nurse and supports our lead nurses and wider clinical team. She has a qualification in dental radiography and manages the radiation protection for the practice, alongside Kirsty.

As well as monitoring other areas of health and safety, she ensures the highest standards of infection control are met, and that the surgeries are maintained effectively.

She ensures the practice is up to date with the latest guidelines and legal and compliance matters, and that it evolves alongside the latest medical and technological advancements in dentistry. When managing the practice, Kelly also keeps patients’ best interests at heart.

In her role, Kelly is still able to employ her skills in dentistry, when both coordinating patients’ treatments and assisting patients with their options.

She brings to her role several years' experience working in the customer service industry and has even worked as cabin crew for one of the UK's largest airlines. She welcomes patients to our practice with her warm and gentle manner.

As our treatment coordinator, Stacey supports patients through their journey at our practice. She is always happy to answer any questions and act as the patient's primary point of contact, booking appointments, providing consultations and arming patient with a wealth of information about treatment options. Guiding patients to make an informed decision, disusing treatment costs, and working directly with our clinicians to create a bespoke treatment plans.
