Training and qualifications
Ashley qualified as a general dentist from King's Dental Institute in 1992. They have been placing implants since 1994 and hold a diploma in Dental Implants from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. They also have a master's degree in Implantology from the Institute of Clinical Excellence at Salford University.
Treatments offered
Ashley's research is based on their clinical practice placing implants using modern technology, digital planning and manufacturing techniques. They are a mentor for implant surgeons wishing to improve their skills and hold a study club for the International Team for Implantology (ITI), striving to improve understanding and clinical outcomes. Ashley has been privileged enough to work with mentors in New York, Dusseldorf and Brisbane, and regularly travels internationally to keep up to date. They have a wide knowledge of dentistry which allows them to offer a holistic approach to every patient Ashley consults. They have previously trained UK undergraduate students on a field trip to Ghana and participated in a voluntary trip providing dental aid to Syrian refugees in Greece. They also sits on several focus groups discussing the future of implant provision, mentoring programs and the use of dental technology and software. Every two years, Ashley cycles 500 miles for charities associated with oral health and has raised over �200,000 with the help of their colleagues.
