Dr Anwar qualified from King’s College London in 2011 before completing advanced postgraduate training in periodontology and implant dentistry. He holds a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology and Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Alongside his clinical career, Dr Anwar has completed an Executive MBA at Imperial College Business School, strengthening his expertise in leadership, innovation and business strategy.

Dr Anwar has a particular interest in the management of gum disease, periodontal plastic surgery, and the use of modern technology to improve patient outcomes. His approach combines evidence-based specialist care with clear communication and a strong focus on the patient experience.

He is also the founder of Dr Serio^™, a dentist-designed sustainable oral-care brand, reflecting his wider commitment to innovation, prevention and environmentally responsible healthcare.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Anwar is a General Dental Council Fitness to Practise panellist, as well as a lecturer, media contributor and advocate for professional education. He regularly speaks on periodontology, healthcare leadership and the future of dentistry.
