Akeel Mosea

Akeel gained his BDS degree from the University of Jordan in 2002, and went on to work in different hospitals throughout the UK in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Akeel obtained the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry/Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MFDRCSI) in 2004. He then gained the Fellowship in Oral Surgery and Medicine FFDRCSI (OSOM) from the same college in 2007.
In 2014, he obtained the board certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the Medical Council of Jordan.
He has a keen interest in dental Implants and gained a diploma in Implant Dentistry (Dip Imp Dent) from the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2016.
Akeel also has an interest in academic work. He has written surgical books, as well as many publications in reputable surgical journals. Akeel has experience of training trainee dentists in hospital environments and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
As well as working with us at Colchester Dental Specialist Centre, Akeel works as a specialty doctor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He offers treatment under local anaesthetic, IV sedation and general anaesthesia. He accepts referral for all types of oral surgery work, including complex extractions, biopsies, bone grafting and sinus lift augmentation.
